Welcome to Rocky Farm Highlands, where our passion for farming runs deep. For over 25 years, we raised Angus cattle for the beef industry, establishing ourselves as a trusted name in the industry. However, we made a significant shift and decided to focus on promoting and preserving the Scottish Highland breed. This decision was driven by our unwavering dedication to these magnificent animals.
Allow us to introduce ourselves – Butch and Anna Nichols, the proud owners of Rocky Farm Highlands. Anna, a former veterinary technician, brings her extensive knowledge and love for animals to the forefront of our operations. Butch, a retired automotive mechanic, has spent the last 33 years as the owner and operator of Nichols Auto Repair in Charlotte. Together, we have now dedicated ourselves full time to the farm and devote our every moment to the well-being of our cattle.
At Rocky Farm Highlands, we believe in sharing the beauty of our farm and its inhabitants with others. We offer farm tours, allowing visitors to experience these wonderful animals up close and personal.
